Team Fortress 2 (TF2) is a multiplayer first-person shooter focused on team-based gameplay featuring nine playable characters. Developed and released by Valve Corporation.
It serves as the sequel to the 1996 Quake mod, Team Fortress, and its 1999 remake, Team Fortress Classic.
Players join one of two teams: RED, which stands for Reliable Excavation & Demolition, or BLU, which stands for Builders League United.
The RED team is owned by Redmond Mann, whereas the BLU team is controlled by Blutarch Mann.
